In order to become a forklift operator, you must complete the needed training but before you start training, there are a few requirements that you must accomplish. In the state of Alabama, all interested applicants must have the requirements in order to qualify as a forklift driver.
The Occupation Safety and Health Administration or OSHA has given the minimum requirements that each applicants must complete. One must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States. If in case they are a legal alien, they must provide a proof of residency. Applicants must be a high school graduate and has a diploma or GED equivalent to present upon application. A valid driver’s license is also required upon application.
